An Egret In The Sycamore

About four years ago one of these little fellows turned up in the tree at the bottom of the garden. Of course this isn’t the same bird as the first one had yellow legs and after several visits that first spring we never saw it again. However, a couple of years later an egret just the same as this one turned up in the spring and for the next two or three weeks was seen visiting our tree. We didn’t think that we’d see it again but in the autumn it reappeared and brought with it a mate. This year it and it's mate have been with us on and off since the spring and on one occasion there were three of them in the tree at the same time. These are lovely birds and I love to see them.
